PLATH & COMPANY HIRES LUIZ PANCHIHAK AS NEW PROJECT CONSULTANT

SAN RAFAEL, CA (July 7, 2008) - Plath & Co. General Contractors recently named new hire Luiz Panchihak as Project Consultant to be based out of headquarters in San Rafael. Holding a degree in Industrial Design, Panchihak comes to Plath & Co. with over 20 years of experience in home storage product design and light home remodel.

“We are very fortunate to have Luiz part of the Plath team,” says Steve Plath, owner and founder. “His international experience in communication and design study brings a fresh perspective that will certainly help maintain the standard of quality and innovative thinking which keeps us a step ahead.” Panchihak moved to San Francisco in 1994 from his native country of Brazil and began as a liaison for the Louis Dreyfuss Corp.where he facilitated communication between furniture production facilities in Brazil and the operations/marketing and sales divisions in the United States.

In 1996, Panchihak joined California Closets Inc. where, as Director of Design, he helped create a company product image that affected over 100 franchises in ten countries. During his tenure there he harnessed skills in domestic and international design trends research, product development and technical training, public speaking, and customer relations among other projects. After a four year stint as a small business owner of a California Closets franchise, Panchihak returns to the bay area to become the latest addition to Plath & Co.
