Pre-Construction

Our clients benefit by being able to participate during the design phase with our pre-construction team, comprised of the architect, engineers, designers and us, the builders. As a highly-qualified builder with unique expertise, we assess the proposed work, provide value engineering, obtain input from subcontractors, suggest practical alternatives, assist in material selection, and create realistic preliminary schedules and budget estimates. When construction starts on your new home, remodel or addition, all individual elements of your project are well-defined through collaboration.

Construction

Construction is where our tradition of professionalism, experience, skill and craftsmanship comes to the forefront. We use all our expertise to create a flawless, finished product all can take pride in. Our project management team keeps your job moving forward as smoothly as possible, and is always available to answer questions, or for any assistance you may need.

Post-Construction

Once a home is constructed, it becomes a structure with routine maintenance requirements. As a client, rely on our courteous and efficient Home Services department to provide ongoing scheduled upkeep and respond promptly to unanticipated needs. A customized service plan is created for your household, helping your residence function and look like when we completed it.

Green Building

Over the last 40 years, we've grown smarter about how we conserve resources, maximize efficiency and eliminate toxic materials. Our experienced Certified Green Building Professionals look for real-world solutions to sustainable design proposals and stays current with green products and technologies. And we built one of California's first LEED residences.

Our green building practices include:

  • construction waste recycling
  • salvaging removed materials for alternative uses
  • implementing energy- and water-efficient systems, including solar, geothermal, and radiant
  • using nontoxic products including low- or no-VOC paints and finishes
  • using reclaimed building products
